East Midlands Business Services Ltd, known as EMBS is celebrating 13 years in business this week. Now working with some of the region’s largest employers including Domestic and General,  Boots, Centerparcs and Hillarys, Browne Jacobson, many of these clients outsource aspects of their recruitment to EMBS as a means of reducing recruitment costs and improving efficiency.  As well as helping companies hire ‘hard to find’ IT and Engineering skills, the team at EMBS is also involved in helping companies develop their employer brand and ‘in house recruitment capabilities  using the latest in digital,  video and social media.

Simon Bucknell puts the success over the last thirteen years down to the strength, friendship and determination of the leadership team and said,  “Ian, Jamie and I are all very different. We see things in very different ways and we’ve learned how to use this to our advantage.

Jamie Elliss said “Becoming a teenager is a real milestone for us. I’d be lying if I said it had been easy. Trading in the worst economy in living memory has been challenging but what doesn’t kill you makes you stronger and we have certainly seen real growth in turnover since the end of the recession.

Ian Stevens said, ‘2016 has already been a record breaking year for us, our results for Q1 have been particularly strong and we’ve signed up two large clients to recruitment outsourcing contracts, that will see our revenues grow significantly.
